Boys & Girls Clubs of Philadelphia Inc.
The mission of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Philadelphia is “to enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to realize their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens.” We carry out this mission through five core program areas designed to touch and build different facets of a child’s life: • Character and Leadership Development – Empower youth to support and influence their Club and community, sustain meaningful relationships with others, develop a positive self-image, participate in the democratic process and respect their own and others’ cultural identities. • Education and Career Development – Prepare youth for their academic and professional futures by teaching them the importance of education and of setting and achieving their goals, and by providing assistance in college and career preparation. • Arts and Culture - Provide members with creative outlet, in which they can develop their knowledge and appreciation of arts, explore skills in music and performing arts, and enhance their creative writing. • Health and Life Skills - Promote healthy living, inclusive of mind, body and spirit. Programs offered under this category educate our members on how to avoid peer pressure and make positive life decisions that enable them to become productive, healthy adults. • Sports, Fitness and Recreation - Help develop a child’s fitness, encourage the positive use of leisure time, teach social skills and skills for stress management, and an appreciation for the environment. The demographics of our membership is as follows: • Females: 45%; Males: 55% • African-American: 62% • Hispanic/Latino: 18% • Caucasian: 13% • Asian/Pacific Islander: 2% • Multi-ethnicity: 5% • 71% of our members come from single-parent households • 91% of our members are from families whose income is below the poverty level

Jon Bon Jovi Soul Foundation
The Jon Bon Jovi Soul Foundation’s Mission is to combat issues that force families and individuals into economic despair. We believe that through the formation of strategic partnerships and the funding of innovative programming, we can break the cycle of poverty and homelessness. It is about harnessing “The Power of WE”. To end homelessness now and break the intergenerational cycle of poverty, we firmly support housing now and education for the future. Our funding priorities have focused on providing stabilized housing opportunities with supportive services to families. The supportive services offered by our partner organizations include job training, educational opportunities, and health and medical support including nutritional family food programs. In just the few years since our inception and with the active involvement of our Board of Directors, including Jon Bon Jovi, the JBJ Soul Foundation has provided funding for over 265 units of housing around the country (Brooklyn, Atlanta, Philadelphia, Colorado Springs, Los Angeles, Newark and Camden, NJ) and most recently funded a community kitchen to provide nutritious eating alternatives to a low-income population. We currently have ongoing projects with some local organizations: Project H.O.M.E., Covenant House PA, Hopeworks, Heart of Camden and Saint Joseph Carpenter Society. The many families and children benefitting from these programs receive the guidance to dream of a future with opportunities and to be part of the equation of developing long-lasting solutions to rebuilding pride in one’s self and one’s community …one SOUL at a time.

Tiger Woods Foundation Inc.
"Providing access to critical developmental programs is a priority for the Tiger Woods Foundation. Youth are encouraged to explore their interests and career aspirations in an inspiring and supportive environment at the Tiger Woods Learning Center. Achieving goals and reaching dreams is the focus of our nationwide character development program. The Foundation is giving youth the skills to lay their own groundwork for the future. We can proudly say that more than 10 million young people have benefited from the Tiger Woods Foundation since its inception in 1996. Through programs and annual events, the Foundation continues to make a difference in the lives of youth around the world. Our programs, initiatives and students continue to grow and exceed expectations every day. What started out with limited access throughout America, now reaches out to young people around the world. We’re proud to say this is just the beginning."
