RBC Canadian Open
Oakville, Ontario, Canada
Key to the strategic vision of the RBC Canadian Open, RBC and Golf Canada have committed to generating philanthropic dollars from the tournament in support of children’s wellness in Canada. Since 1904, the RBC Canadian Open has contributed more than $45 million dollars to various charities and community programs.
In 2013, Golf Canada and RBC were proud to announce Ronald McDonald House Charities Canada as the national charity partner of Canada’s National Open Golf Championship. The partnership kicked off with a two-year 500,000 commitment by RBC to support the mental health and well-being of the families of seriously ill children while also providing the resources and support families need physically, emotionally and mentally when they are facing the most challenging time in their lives.
Since coming on board as title sponsor of the RBC Canadian Open in 2008, RBC along with Golf Canada have raised close to $5 million for charitable organizations across Canada that support children's wellness initiatives.
