Crowne Plaza Invitational at Colonial
Fort Worth, Texas
The Crowne Plaza Invitational at Colonial generated over $7 million for charity in 2012. Included in the initiatives is more than $5.5 million raised during the past decade for our primary beneficiary, Cook Children's Medical Center. Contributions support the programs to ensure no child in need of medical attention is left untreated, regardless of financial means.
Every year since 1998 the tournament has surpassed the million-dollar mark in annual charitable contributions. More than 100 Tarrant Charities benefit from Fort Worth's most-charitable event. The Crowne Plaza Invitational at Colonial also honors military personnel and family by offering complimentary admission through the NAS JRB Fort Worth and occasionally other Texas bases.
