St. Baldrick's Day
March 23, 2011
By James Hahn
“Last year was my rookie season on the Nationwide Tour. All the sacrifices my family and I have made were finally paying off. Learning to play golf at the age of 4, playing collegiate golf at UC Berkeley and struggling on the mini-tours. I finally felt like I was making progress in the right direction."
“Having finally made it onto one of the best Tours in the world, there was a sense of accomplishment but also a responsibility to give back to the community that made me the person that I am today. There are many charities in the Bay Area that I connect with, but none does more for children than the Children's Hospital Oakland. Being able to live my childhood dream makes me want to help others that have no choice than to fight for their lives."
"I (shaved) my head at St. Baldrick's for all my friends and family to know, Together anything's possible."
