Andrade-Faxon Charities distributes over $300k to children's charities

December 20, 2013

On December 18, Andrade-Faxon Charities for Children Board of Directors voted to disperse more than $304,000 in grant funds to fifty-nine children’s charities during their 2013 Annual Board Meeting. The grant awards answered application requests for therapeutic equipment, camp stipends, food, snacks, educational instruction, books, dental visits, adoption services, children’s wishes and more.

“Our mission has always been to help children who are at-risk”, stated Billy Andrade, “every one of the charities we helped tonight truly need our support”.  Brad Faxon commented, “Billy Andrade and I, along with our wives, Jody and Dory, remain committed to gifting funds to help children in need within the states of Rhode Island and Massachusetts.  We are thankful to so many people and organizations that have helped us for the past twenty years. There is no better feeling than giving money this time of year.”

Andrade-Faxon Charities for Children has been funding 501(c)3 organizations yearly since it’s inception 21 years ago. In total, AFCC has gifted more than $5.2 million in funds to children's charities in Rhode Island and Southeastern Massachusetts.

Individual contributions are the primary source of revenue for the charity. More information is available at
