ST. SIMONS ISLAND, Ga.- On Wednesday at The McGladrey Classic, more than a dozen PGA TOUR players partnered with participants from the Boys and Girls Club of Southeast Georgia and Special Olympics Coastal Georgia for a charity putting challenge. Wednesday’s event came just a day after more than 20 TOUR players and their wives gathered for the “Blessings in a Backpack” Whiffle Ball Classic.

“The PGA TOUR does so much for charity, that I can’t even get my arms around all it has going on to that regard,” said three-time PGA TOUR winner Johnson Wagner, who participated in the events on both Tuesday and Wednesday. “Being a part of things like this really make what we do worthwhile. The game of golf has given me so much, so anytime I can give back, I’m happy to do it.”

Other TOUR players involved with Wednesday’s putting contest included Charlie Beljan, John Senden, Andres Romero and D.H. Lee.
