First Tee participant wins pro-am spot with Rickie Fowler at the Wells Fargo Championship

April 24, 2013

Reyhan has been a member of The First Tee of San Francisco since 2006. He is currently a 4.0 student at A.P. Giannini and looking forward to attending Lincoln High School next year. Reyhan lives and breathes golf. When he gets ready for school, he packs two backpacks: one with all of his school supplies and another for his golf magazines, instructional guides and player biographies. Reyhan is often soft spoken, leading by example. He is the oldest child in quite a large household. Alongside his nine year old brother, he also lives with his two cousins, aunt and uncle, grandmother, grandfather and mother. Reyhan practices golf six days a week. He attends The First Tee classes after school at Visitacion Valley Middle School and every Saturday at TPC Harding Park. He is a model student, consistently demonstrating all of the Nine Core Values and life skills he has learned as a member of The First Tee's "Future Foursome" program. Reyhan cites both "Integrity" and "Confidence" as his two favorite core values. The most important lesson he has learned is to always make good decisions, even when no one is watching.
