Wells Fargo and The First Tee’s Succeeding Together contest winner plays pro-am with Tiger Woods

Seventeen-year-old Shahbaz Hashmi, grand prize winner of Wells Fargo and The First Tee’s Succeeding Together contest, played with Tiger Woods in Wednesday’s pro-am at the Wells Fargo Championship at Quail Hollow Club.   

Wells Fargo is hosting Hashmi – who won the opportunity to play with Woods, the PGA TOUR player of his choice – and three other contest winners of the company’s Succeeding Together essay contest at this week’s Wells Fargo Championship. The grand prize winner from The First Tee of Greater San Antonio, Hashmi’s essay was selected by a panel of judges from Wells Fargo, The First Tee, and the Wells Fargo Championship tournament office.

Hashmi and the contest’s three other winners each received a four-day/three-night trip for two to Charlotte, N.C. to attend the 2018 Wells Fargo Championship and experience the excitement of a PGA TOUR event from inside the ropes.
