Paul Casey, UNICEF to surpass $100,000 fundraising mark at THE PLAYERS

In 2017, Paul Casey launched a new partnership with UNICEF at THE PLAYERS Championship.

Since then, Casey has donated $100 for each birdie he has made during competition to UNICEF, which works in 190 countries and territories to protect the rights of every child.

The birdies have added up.

Almost one year later to the date, Casey will officially meet and exceed a total of $100,000 raised at this year’s edition of THE PLAYERS at TPC Sawgrass. The mark will be reached thanks to the PGA TOUR professional’s personal contributions, as well as corporate partner matches.

“I’m really proud of the work UNICEF and I have done together over the past year,” Casey said. “I would like to again thank the corporate partners which have joined me in this fight in ending childhood starvation.

“As I take a step back to reflect, it’s a true honor to think of the impact that amount of money can truly make. I look forward to continuing to raise even more. I can only hope through all of this, that the world will become a better place for children here in the U.S. and throughout the rest of the world.”
