May 12, 2018

Optum gave back to the greater Jacksonville community on Saturday by presenting St. Vincent’s HealthCare Foundation with a surprise $50,000 donation.

This special presentation took place in front of the St. Vincent’s HealthCare mobile health unit, located at TPC Sawgrass as part of THE PLAYERS Championship.

“At Optum, our mission is to help people live healthier lives and help the health care system work better for everyone,” said Lynne Stockstad, CMO, Optum. “It’s a mission closely aligned with the St. Vincent’s Health Care Foundation, which plays such an important role in meeting the healthcare needs of the Jacksonville area.”

St. Vincent’s HealthCare Foundation is a not-for-profit, philanthropic organization.

The foundation was established in 1982 and is committed to enhancing the current and future healthcare needs of Jacksonville and the surrounding area.

“The work St. Vincent’s Foundation does is vital to helping this community,” Stockstad said. “We thank St. Vincent’s Foundation for that, and hope this donation helps them to continue to fulfill their mission.”
