Ryan Palmer Foundation hosts annual Battle at the Byron

PGA TOUR professional and native Texan Ryan Palmer hosted his annual Battle at the Byron presented by United Rentals, benefitting the Ryan Palmer Foundation, on May 20-21 in Dallas.


The event, which was held at TPC Four Seasons Las Colinas, featured a private reception and silent auction benefiting the Ryan Palmer Foundation on Sunday, in addition to a practice session with PGA TOUR pros and round of golf for participants on Monday.


In total, 20 amateur foursomes were paired with PGA TOUR players. Previous pros to participate have included some of the world’s top players, including Palmer, Zach Johnson, Jason Dufner, James Hahn, Jordan Spieth and Jimmy Walker, among many others.




The Ryan Palmer Foundation inspires kids to shine and creates life-change through opportunities that build confidence and self-worth.


The Brighter Smiles Initiative, in particular, was a major beneficiary of the Battle at the Byron. The dental program of the Ryan Palmer Foundation, Brighter Smiles is a unique charitable initiative that provides a wide range of dental services to qualifying children and teens. From cleft palette surgery to wisdom teeth extraction, orthodontics to implants and many procedures in between, the Ryan Palmer Foundation is committed to ensuring a brighter smile for each child in the initiative.
