Jerry Kelly

 

Kelly began showing his support for the U. S. Navy SEALs and the Navy SEAL Foundation in 2006 when he spent his birthday, which fell on Thanksgiving Day, in Iraq at one of Saddam Hussein's former palaces in Baghdad. He spent eight days in Iraq visiting 14 bases and entertaining the troops and visiting the wounded. 

Kelly has been a dedicated advocate of the Navy SEAL Foundation, making it his mission to personally show his support to the troops and also to champion the Naval Special Warfare Foundation's mission to provide educational support through scholarships and tuition assistance; to promote health and welfare programs including tragedy assistance programs for families of fallen Navy SEALs; and to maintain the Special Warfare community's strong history through monuments and publications designed to preserve and recognize their rich heritage.
