California Fire Foundation
The California Fire Foundation was created as a way to recognize the courage of firefighters, and the perseverance and sacrifice of fire victims. Formed in 1987 by California Professional Firefighters, the California Fire Foundation's mandate includes an array of public education and victim assistance projects.
California Firefighters Memorial. Design, build and maintain a memorial to fallen firefighters at the State Capitol in Sacramento. The Foundation is the official recipient organization for proceeds from state license plate and tax check-off funds earmarked for the Memorial.
Firefighter Families. Organize special funds to provide emergency assistance to families of firefighters killed in the line of duty.
Victim Assistance. Provide a resource center to assist victims and families devastated by fire and other major disasters, and organize a special fund to provide emergency assistance to fire victims.
Public Education. Provide information about fire safety and the toxic effect of fires and conduct public outreach and education about fires and fire safety.
California Shock Trauma Air Rescue (CALSTAR)
Our mission: To save lives, reduce disability and speed recovery for victims of trauma and illness through rapid transport, quality medical care and education. California Shock Trauma Air Rescue (CALSTAR) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit regional air ambulance service. Founded in 1983, CALSTAR helps to fill a vital need for rapid emergency transport in Northern and Central California. To date, we have safely transported over 40,000 victims of trauma and severe illness to hospitals and trauma centers.
California State University, Monterey Bay (CSUMB)
Located on 1,500 acres of the former Fort Ord Army base, California State University Monterey Bay (CSUMB) offers a wide range of undergraduate and graduate degrees and has a current enrollment of 4,600 students. CSUMB is dedicated to serving the diverse people of California, especially the historically undereducated, working class, low-income, and first generation college students and offers a quality education that celebrates our diverse communities, embraces our technological generation, and values community service.
Camerata Singers
Volunteer chorus presenting three concert series each year throughout Monterey County. Mission statement: The Camerata Singers of Monterey County provides high-quality cultural and educational opportunities for a multi-generational audience through the production of choral music recognized for its imaginative programming and performance excellence
Camp Carter YMCA
Camp Carter YMCA is a summer camp for boys and girls, ages 6 to 16. We give children the chance to build relationships, develop character, learn skills and have fun. Activities include archery, horseback riding, canoeing, fishing, arts & crafts, hiking, outdoor living skills, riflery and challenge course.
Camp CoHoLo (COurage, HOpe, LOve) is a camp for childen who have or have had cancer or other blood-related disorders. Our campers range in age from 6-17 and come together for a week each summer to share "a normal" camp experience they would not otherwise experience.
Camp Compass Inc.
Camp Compass is a unified effort to introduce urban, middle & high school students to various outdoor activities.
During these sessions students will be introduced and networked to community businesses and working role models. The consequence will be an educated and influenced population understanding conservation, sportsmenâs philosophies and their activities.
Camp Compass is a nonprofit program developed for urban, disadvantaged youth by john annoni. His staff of volunteer mentors are making a difference in the inner city by providing hunting, fishing, archery, tutoring, social guidance, and other outdoor youth activities.
The children involved are helped with life through a structured program fostering self esteem, providing role models and influencing positive choices.
Camp Esperanza
Camp Esperanza is a unique summer camping experience for children between the ages of 6 and 15 who currently have cancer or have been treated for cancer at Children's Medical Center of Dallas. During the one-week camp, kids can just be kids, while still maintaining their medical and health care needs. "Esperanza", the Spanish word for "Hope", is what Camp is all about - giving and sharing Hope.

Camp Summit Inc.
Camp Summit offers weeklong camp sessions for children and adults with disabilities during the summer months and spring break and weekend sessions and respite days in the fall and spring seasons. Campers are offered a wide variety of traditional camp activities in our barrier-free environment including a specially-designed swimming pool, adapted tree house, horseback riding ramps, adapted ropes challenge course, covered outdoor gymnasium, lodge with fireplace, fishing pond, camp sites and the outdoor chapel.

Camp Twin Lakes is a not-for-profit organization that offers year-round recreational, therapeutic, and educational programs for children facing serious illnesses and other physical, emotional and life challenges. With its network of partners, Camp Twin Lakes provides life-changing experiences for thousands of children each year at its state-of-the-art, fully accessible facility, located on 500 acres in Rutledge, Georgia, and at other locations throughout the state.
Campus Crusade for Christ Inc.
Campus Crusade for Christ exists to help fulfill the Great Commission by winning, building and sending in the power of the Holy Spirit. We also help the body of Christ do evangelism and discipleship.
Cancer Alliance of Help and Hope
Our primary purpose is to provide financial assistance to cancer patients living in or being treated in Palm Beach County by helping pay ordinary daily living expenses such as rent, utilities, mortgage, car payments, car and health insurance. We also created the Community Cancer Council, which brings representatives from various cancer-related organizations in Palm Beach, Broward, Martin, St Lucie and Miami-Dade Counties together to discuss topics of mutual interest every two months.
Cancer Association of Spartanburg and Cherokee Counties Inc.
The Cancer Association of Spartanburg and Cherokee Counties is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation dedicated to providing quality of life services to area residents facing the challenges of cancer in our communities through screenings, education and direct services. We are a local organization; all funds raised remain entirely in Spartanburg and Cherokee counties. No reimbursement is received from Medicare, Medicaid or any insurance company, nor is the client charged for services provided. We are the only area organization to provide these services without any cost to our clients.

A 100% volunteer-run nonprofit organization, the Cancer Coping Center constitutes a group of professionals who volunteer their time and expertise in order to relieve the suffering of those afflicted with cancer by providing coping strategies for cancer patients, their family members and caregivers. It is all about taking action and not thinking that someone else will take care of the matter. We live socially responsible lives and can look back and be proud of helping others during difficult times. The Mission To enhance and improve the quality of life for cancer patients, family members and caregivers through creativity. We are a registered nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization.

Canine Castaways Inc.
Canine Castaways, Inc. is a non-profit, all volunteer organization dedicated to rescuing dogs in need, rehabilitating if necessary, and then adopting to approved homes where they will be loved as part of a family while also encouraging responsible pet care and striving to increase awareness of the consequences of pet overpopulation through educational programs and materials. We do not operate from a shelter but rather a network of foster homes in different areas of the state so it may not always be possible for you to meet more than one of our dogs at a time. While this can be frustrating for a prospective adopter, the foster home setting allows us to better evaluate the dogs' temperaments and help them adjust to family life. We deal primarily with dogs under 30 pounds but will also take in larger dogs if a foster home is available.

Since 1927, Carmel Music Society has presented classical music concerts by some of the world's finest artists, names such as Frederica Von Stade, Emmanuel ax, the Romeros guitar quartet, the beaux arts trio and Gil Shaham.
Carol M. Baldwin Breast Cancer Research Fund of CNY
The Carol M. Baldwin Breast Cancer Research Fund is committed to battling breast cancer by supporting both new and established researchers. To date, the Carol M. Baldwin Breast Cancer Research Fund has awarded more than 57 research grants totalling in excess of $3 million to medical research. Each grant given is for $50,000 and is named for an individual who has lost his or her battle with the fight against breast cancer. This is a way of honoring these people. We also have an endowed lectureship that we name in celebration after a survivor locally, each year in October. As Carol Baldwin says, " TOGETHER WE WILL FIND A CURE!"
