A boy scout troop in Mira Mesa California. Approximately 35 boys. Funds raised help to pay for the boys to attend summer camp and other campouts.

Provides scouting programs to youth and adults on Maui, Molokai and Lanai since 1914. In Maui County, over 1,400 boys and over 500 leaders take part in the Cub Scout, Boy Scout, Varsity Scout, Venturing and Learning for Life programs.
The Mid-America Council has a strong tradition as one of the nation's premier scout councils. Since 1910, the Boy Scouts of America has instilled timeless values of character, citizenship and leadership in each young man who has entered the scouting program. The Mid-America Council continues this tradition through educational based skills and activities. Currently, there are over 33,700 scouts and nearly 10,000 volunteer leaders. The first recorded scouting movement in the area was in 1918 known as the Omaha Council. A merger of the Covered Wagon Council and the Southwest Iowa Council in 1965 created the Mid-America Council and in 2000, our council merged with the Prairie Gold Council in the Sioux City, Iowa area. The Mid-America Council currently covers 58 counties in Nebraska, Iowa and South Dakota.

Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Oregon (BGCCO) serves approximately 1,600 youth in Deschutes County. BGCCO operates four before- and after-school care facilities and an outreach site in an elementary school offering a wide array of programs for children ranging in age from 6 to 18.
The Boys & Girls Club of Newark Life Camp is located in Pottsville, N.J. Its 100-acre campus allows campers to get close to nature as they explore a wide range of physical, artistic and character-building activities. The facilities include a pool, a five-mile bike course, an outdoor-education course, a computer lab, a library and plenty of space for fun. Campers express themselves artistically in drama, music, percussion, creative writing and arts and crafts. They also enjoy swimming, bike riding, tumbling and sports.
In every community, boys and girls are left to find their own recreation and companionship in the streets. An increasing number of children are at home with no adult care or supervision. Young people need to know that someone cares about them. Boys & Girls Clubs offer that and more. Club programs and services promote and enhance the development of boys and girls by instilling a sense of competence, usefulness, belonging and influence.
