CEF is a world-wide non-denominational ministry whose purpose is to evangelize boys and girls with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, to disciple them in the Word of God, and to establish them in a local church. Our primary ministry is an after-school Bible club called the Good News Club. By partnering with a local church, we train the volunteers and provide the materials for the Good News Club. Typically 20-50% of the school population stays after school one day a week for one hour for the Good News Club that is held on the elementary school campus. Children who attend must have a signed permission slip. In the summer we hire teenagers who lead 5-Day Clubs (same format as a Good News Club) wherever there are children--recreational centers, day cares, neighborhoods, etc. All volunteers complete a national background check.
