Provide girls with the tools and opportunities to learn, grow and achieve their full potential

Girl Scouts of Southeast Florida Inc.
Girl Scouts is the world's preeminent organization dedicated solely to girls--all girls-- where, in an accepting and nurturing environment, girls build character and skills for success in the real world. In partnership with committed adult volunteers, girls develop qualities that will serve them all their lives, like leadership, strong values, social conscience, and conviction about their own potential and self-worth. Our mission is to "build girls of courage, confidence and character, who make the world a better place." Our program is girl-driven, reflecting the ever-changing needs and interests of today's girls. It is a safe place for girls ages 5-17 to engage in activities while they discover more about themselves and the world around them, connect with others, and take action to make the world a better place. Being a values-based organization, sets us apart from the multitude of other youth-serving organizations. While promoting the fun and friendship integral to Girl Scouting, the values found in the Promise and Law provide an essential framework for developing self-esteem, character, sound decision-making, and fostering strength of conviction. Girl Scouting is family oriented with many parents and guardians acting as leaders, co-leaders, and volunteers.

Greater Phoenix Youth at Risk Foundation Inc.
Since 1989, Phoenix Youth at Risk has transformed the lives of more than 3,000 homeless children and at-risk teens through mentoring.

H.O.P.E. Farm Inc.
The boys of southeast Fort Worth, Texas are among the most vulnerable and threatened in the city. Many have no positive adult role models, particularly male. By the time these children reach middle school, many are involved in gangs, drugs and other criminal activities. The forces of fear and violence have often done their damage by the time the boys are 7-8 years old, and thus the cycle is repeated. The ideal way to break the cycle is to remove the boys from this threatened environment, but this neighborhood is their home. A more realistic approach is to give boys who enter the program at 5-7 years of age, an opportunity to experience the benefits of a Christian environment, with respect, love and mutual concern.
