Birdies for the Brave
A PGA TOUR Charities, Inc. program, Birdies for the Brave is the PGA TOUR’s primary vehicle for supporting the brave men and women of the U.S. Armed Forces and their families. Since 2005, the TOUR has joined with PGA TOUR players, corporate partners, TPC club members, fans and TOUR employees to raise millions of dollars for military home front groups that provide vital services and programs for military men and women and their families.

Boys & Girls Clubs of the Lowcountry, Bluffton Unit
The Boys & Girls Club of Bluffton has 748 members, which attend after-school, interim and summer programs. Our core programs engage young people in activities with adults, peers and family members that enable them to enhance self-esteem and to develop their full potential. The core programs are: Education and Career Development; Health and Life Skills; The Arts; Sports Fitness and Recreation.

CASY-MSCCN
Corporate America Supports You (CASY) and the Military Spouse Corporate Career Network (MSCCN) were chartered in 2012 and 2004 respectively as private sector non-profit organizations with the mission to provide no-cost employment readiness, vocational training, and one-on-one job placement services for National Guard, Reserves, transitioning service members, veterans, military spouses, homeless female veterans, war wounded and caregivers of war wounded. CASY and MSCCN function as one Military job-placement unit serving two target audiences. Where CASY offers an outlet for Military and Military affiliates, MSCCN focuses on spouses of Military, and Military caregivers. CASY-MSCCN operates as an employment partner to all branches of the Armed Forces, including the National Guard and Coast Guard, through Memoranda of Understanding (MOU). All of our employment and training programs are supported by solid partnerships with major corporations, job-recruiters, mid-size companies, and small businesses that provide employment opportunities for our Military-affiliated job seekers. Our state-of-the-art Gateway technology, built by Kenexa/IBM, provides real-time, verifiable tracking and outcome reports to our employment partners, Military, and donors.

Golf for Injured Veterans Everywhere
Iowa Veterans for golf is a not-for-profit organization to provide a structured golf program for injured Iowa Veterans who use the Iowa City VA Hospital. The golf program is comprised of four phases of training for injured veterans to participate in to enhance injured veteran's mental, social, physical, and emotional well-being; and improve their quality of life.

The Green Beret Foundation provides unconventional resources to facilitate the special needs of our wounded, and provide unique support to the Special Forces community in order to strengthen readiness and uphold Green Beret traditions and values.

Heritage Library Foundation Inc.
The Heritage Library acquires, preserves and makes available the significant cultural assets of Hilton Head relating to history for the enhancement of our community. This history starts with the Early Americans, and extends thru the family histories of residents, of emancipated peoples, of refugees, of soldiers, of settlers, of visitors and of all those who have come thru Hilton Head-down thru the ages and up to modern times. The Library owns and operates two of the most significant historical sites on the Island which are available to residents and the public.

Deep Well is a private social service agency serving those in need in the greater Hilton Head Island area. We provide emergecy assistance with rent, utilities, food, medicine, home repair, and furniture. Our typical client is among the "working poor", and we also help the elderly, sick and disabled.

Homes for Our Troops Inc.
We are Homes for Our Troops, a national non-profit, non-partisan 501(c)(3) organization founded in 2004. We are strongly committed to helping those who have selflessly given to our country and have returned home with serious disabilities and injuries since September 11, 2001. It is our duty and our honor to assist severely injured Servicemen and Servicewomen and their immediate families by raising donations of money, building materials and professional labor and to coordinate the process of building a home that provides maximum freedom of movement and the ability to live more independently.

Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund
The Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund was established in 2000 to provide financial support for the dependents of United States military personnel lost in performance of their duty. This continued an effort begun in 1982 by Zachary and Elizabeth Fisher, founders of the Intrepid Museum Foundation and the Fisher House Foundation. Following the bombing of the U.S. Marine barracks in Beirut in 1982, the Fishers sent contributions of $10,000 to every child who lost a parent in the attack. Until Zachary’s passing in 1999, the Fishers made hundreds of similar contributions following military losses. These gifts, usually of $25,000, were intended to assist military families through any financial hardships they might face following the loss of their loved ones. This tradition was carried on by Zachary’s nephews, Arnold, Richard and Tony Fisher, who quietly supported these efforts through the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum. Following the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001, and the United States’ involvement in the war on terrorism, the need for this support greatly increased and this effort was expanded to the public to help generate the growing need for funds. The Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund was established officially as an independent not-for-profit organization in 2003, and top supporter Richard T. Santulli stepped forward to chair the new organization. Other top supporters came together to form the Board of Trustees and they continue to lead and support the Fund today. Through 2005, the Fund provided close to $20 million to families of United States military personnel lost in performance of their duty, mostly in service in Iraq and Afghanistan. The Fund provided unrestricted grants of $11,000 to each spouse and $5,000 to each dependent child. In addition, Board member E. Roe Stamps personally funded an additional $1,000 to parents of unmarried servicemembers as an extension of that program. All payments were coordinated with the casualty offices of the Armed Forces, to ensure that all families received these benefits. In 2005 federal legislation substantially increased the benefits granted to these families. With the needs of these families now being supported much more substantially, the Fund turned to the next area of the military community needing help: our wounded warriors.

MWSF provides job and training to Veterans with service related disabilities. As well many other programs are provided including 4 year degree programs, counseling, housing furniture assistance programs and outdoor recreation, like golf, and ranch activities such as fishing and hunting.
