The SCGA Foundation is the charitable arm of the Southern California Golf Association. Our mission is to sponsor the education and character development of Southern California youth. We accomplish our mission through the following goals: create affordable access to the game; instill integrity, character, and responsibility in youth through golf; and provide educational opportunities for youth through the game.

Southwest Florida Junior Golf Association Inc.
The SWFJGA is celebrating its 34th year of accomplishments. The programs and goals are designed to provide our Juniors with the opportunity to experience golf under tournament conditions and at the same time, the Juniors are learning the Rules of Golf, building individual character, integrity, meeting new friends and developing sportsmanship. All of this, while having fun! The program runs for three months out of the summer season. There are seven weekly tournaments that are held on Mondays at different locations throughout the five counties served by SWFJGA. Due to the devotion and generosity of the local golf courses and the support of all the Golf Professionals, the Juniors will have an opportunity to play some of the finest golf courses in Southwest Florida.
Stephen Ames Foundation
The Stephen Ames Foundation provides funding for junior golf programs and other children's initiatives in Canada and Trinidad and Tobago.
Stuart Appleby Junior Golf
Stuart Appleby Junior Golf (Victoria) Inc.(SAJG) is the most exciting venture that Victorian junior golf has seen for some time. Commencing in November 2003, SAJG is Victoria's junior golf foundation and is a non-profit organization dedicated entirely and specifically to promoting the interests of young golfers.

The First Tee
Sports have been traditional vehicles for teaching life lessons, but today, sport at its highest levels, is played in an atmosphere where we have a preponderance of athletes who deny they have responsibility to be role models, let alone idols of the young. There is, however, a sport that not only continues to teach positive life lessons, but also depends on an adherence to them for its very existence. That sport, of course, is golf.

The First Tee provides young people of all backgrounds an opportunity to develop life-enhancing values such as confidence, perseverance and judgment through golf and character education. In 2010, more than 3,600 spectators watched World Golf Hall of Fame members Johnny Miller, Jack Nicklaus, Arnold Palmer and Tom Watson play The Harbor Shores Champions for Change Golf Challenge at The Golf Club at Harbor Shores, a course designed by Nicklaus. Prior to the event, Benton Harbor, Mich.-based Whirlpool announced that the company would donate portions of $1 million in honor of the four players to The First Tee of Benton Harbor.
