East Lake Foundation Inc.
Founded in 1995 on the belief that everyone deserves a chance to succeed, the East Lake Foundation (www.eastlakefoundation.org) offers Atlanta's East Lake residents opportunities to build a better future through quality education, affordable housing, recreational opportunities and connections with the broader community. We help families reach their highest potential by sponsoring academic, enrichment, recreational, mentoring, summer and scholarship programs for children and teens; and counseling, support groups and training for adults. This approach to building a strong community not only helps break the cycle of poverty, but creates a place where people of all ages and incomes choose to live. Today's economic challenges hit working families particularly hard; our neighbors struggle to make ends meet while trying to provide a better future for their children. But thanks to our donors and volunteers, the East Lake Foundation and its programs, including The First Tee of East Lake, deliver the tools these families need. Your support creates hope today, builds success for future generations and helps fuel a model that's become a national inspiration.
